California Weekly Roundup

The California Weekly Roundup is an email digest we send to members and friends in California listing news, local chapter and affiliate meetings, and special events. This brief announcement helps keep our grassroots base informed, and is an important tool for local medical cannabis organizers statewide. Everyone on ASA’s California email list will receive the Weekly Roundup on Friday.

Be sure to sign up for the statewide and local low-volume email lists by typing your email address in the box labeled “Sign up for email alerts” at the top and center of our home page.

We need your help to be sure that all of the latest news, meetings, and events are listed. Please send us short emails about meetings and events before 12:00 PM (PST) each Wednesday to be included in the weekly email.

We would also like to hear about medical cannabis issues in your community that are not being reported in the media – i.e. bans, moratoria, or regulations for patient’s coops; law enforcement activity; etc. Just include the basics – who, what, when, where, and why. We also need your contact information. There is no need to send media stories. We get those already!

ASA staff will compile all of the news, meetings, and events into a digest format, with links for more information, where applicable. Sometimes we may have to edit for brevity or clarity, or omit some items due to the length of the digest. Please remember that the California Weekly Roundup is exclusively for medical cannabis news, meetings, and events in California. At their sole discretion, staff may choose not to include items that are not germane.
